The process of 3D Secure looks something like on the screen here. The payments page is loaded. Customer enters their card details onto the web page and then, the little bank box pops up when they have to verify themselves by their password or the authorization code they’ve received by text. If they’ve successfully identified themselves, the payment will be successful and if they unsuccessfully identify themselves, the payment will decline. Also, don’t forget you don’t have to just visit a website to pay. There’s also different methods of accessing that web payments page through email and SMS campaigns where instead of visiting the URL, you might receive a text, which is unique to you with the parametrized link on there that, once clicked, lands on the web payments page with all of your information prefilled and the same process will follow.
