Your bank box then pops up, triggering them to verify themselves by their password or the authorisation code they’ve received by text. If they’ve successfully identified themselves, the payment will be successful and if they unsuccessfully identify themselves, the payment will decline.

Also, you don’t have to just visit a website to pay. There are different methods of accessing that web payments page through email and SMS campaigns, where instead of visiting the URL, you might receive a text, which is unique to you. It contains a parameterized link on there that, once clicked, lands on the web payments page with all of their information pre filled, and the same process will follow.
