Glossary:

Computer Speech Recognition, also known as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), is a technology that enables computers and software systems to understand and interpret human speech. It involves algorithms and models that analyse spoken language, convert it into text, and may also interpret the meaning or intent behind the speech.

ASR systems are used in applications such as voice commands, dictation software, voice-to-text transcriptions, and interactive voice response (IVR) systems.
