Recognising Women in Tech on International Women’s Day 2026

Womens-Day-Collage-2026

Updated: 3 March 2026

According to WomenTech Network, women make up about 28% of the tech workforce in the UK, matching the global average but still below gender parity. Representation is even lower in specialised areas, with 17% of cybersecurity roles and 20% of AI and data positions held by women. These figures highlight the ongoing gender imbalance across the industry.

2026’s International Women’s Day theme is ‘Give to Gain’, showcasing the importance of providing meaningful opportunities, from equal pay to career advancement.

In the tech industry, progress is often defined by the latest advancements in technology. However, true innovation happens when individuals are given a fair chance to succeed. With this in mind, we want to highlight what we’ve done as an organisation to ensure women have equal chances to grow and progress.

Our workforce is made up of 40% women. This is not by chance, but by intention. We have created an environment designed to recognise contribution, provide support and encourage career development.

Several members of the team have progressed in their careers over the years, Here’s just a handful of their achievements…
