How does it work?

Agents can generate a secure payment link directly from the Zoom interface without leaving the customer conversation. The link can be shared with the customer via web chat, email, or SMS (text message). Customers then open the link on their own device and complete the payment through a secure payment page.

Because payment details are entered by the customer outside the Zoom environment, sensitive cardholder data is not visible to agents and remains outside the organisation’s systems, applications, and call recordings. This approach helps organisations reduce PCI scope while maintaining a smooth customer experience.

Agents can view the payment status in real time, allowing them to guide the customer through the process and confirm when the transaction has been completed.

Secure payments for Zoom supports a range of payment methods including debit and credit cards, digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and bank-to-bank payments via Open Banking. Organisations can configure which payment options are available to suit their operations.

What do I need?

A Zoom Contact Center or Zoom Phone account and a Key IVR Click to Pay service. Admin users can then authenticate agents to use the Click to Pay service within their Zoom account, providing a single pane of interaction for customer payments.
