The Key IVR Service Desk is the first point of call for our clients, providing friendly assistance to anyone needing help with their payment services, from requesting logins and licenses, troubleshooting issues through to ad-hoc reporting.
Deborah DeJesus is the Service Desk team leader, responsible for ensuring the team respond and to resolve all enquiries in a timely manner, liaising and coordinating with other departments when necessary.
- When did you start working at Key IVR?
Nearly 2 years ago, I was looking for something new and spotted the role online. I think the exact date was 13th February 2017. - What does your role involve?
I take a lot of care into assisting our clients with any issues they may be having, ensuring they are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. As team leader I’m also there to support and motivate my team. - What is your favourite part about working for Key IVR?
No two days are ever the same here. It’s such a friendly place to work and everyone is always willing to pull together if need be.
- What have you gained from working at Key IVR?
In such a complex industry, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge around the systems we use and much they’re benefiting our clients. I’ve also made many good friends during my time here. - What makes you proud to work at Key IVR?
The difference I can make as a team player to assist the business to grow makes me extremely proud of the job I do. Working closely with customers to ensure they are happy with our services, there is never a dull moment at Key IVR as the challenge is always available if you wish to take it. - What’s a standard day in the office like for you?
Busy. There is always something to do and not a day goes by where I’d find myself bored. - What do you like to do on your days off?
I love to sit back with a good book, but I always really enjoy going to local events that are of interest to me. My favourite being Mind Body & Spirit shows. - Before working at Key IVR, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I used to weld double glazing window frames. My husband worked away from home and it was a great way to work around my home life and my children. - What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on?
I’ve been on a couple of fantastic vacations that were unforgettable. I especially love the US, the most memorable being my trip to Las Vegas, Orlando was also brilliant. Disney World was amazing! Watching my kids faces when they saw the characters was a real highlight.
- Describe what you were like at age 10.
I was a bit of a tomboy. Always climbing trees and fighting with the boys. - If you could do any other job for one day, what would it be?
I’d love to work as the person who picks the lottery numbers. Something completely different! - Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
I am a qualified in Hypnotherapist, Holistic Therapist and Reiki Master. I became a Reiki Master by chance after going to a taster session, the lady there recommended I do some training for it and I’ve not looked back since. - What music is on your phone?
It’s definitely not subject to a certain genre, I have everything from meditation to Ed Sheeran. More Than Words by Extreme is my favourite song to listen to. - Where is your favourite place to eat?
There’s a great Tex-Mex restaurant in my local town called Cactus Jacks, they do the best barbeque ribs!
