- When did you start working at Key IVR?
9th July 2018. It looked like a challenge compared to my other roles and a great opportunity to get involved in a growing business within an industry where I could broaden my knowledge.
- What does your role involve?
It usually comprises of contacting businesses and professionals to inform them of what we do, identifying if there’s a need for our services. It’s my job to create an interest for our solutions, working with our Account Managers to progress the opportunity further.
- What is your favourite part about working for Key IVR?
When things aren’t going so well, and we’re having trouble contacting prospects, the support that fellow co-workers provide shows that they really care about our success. It’s never a negative workplace.
- What have you gained from working at Key IVR?
After adapting to Key IVR’s business process, it’s given me the ability to have much more confidence and further develop my sales skills.
- What makes you proud to work at Key IVR?
The fact that I’ve been given an opportunity to work within a fast-growing company and be a part of its continuous development.
- What’s a standard day in the office like for you?
A standard day for me would usually involve researching as much as possible on a specific prospect or company. This would lead to building a relationship and getting to know them, discovering what their needs and development areas are when it comes to processing payments.
- What do you like to do on your days off?
My weekends usually involve catching up with friends and going out to new places for a meal and some drinks. I always make sure I make time to see my family as well.
- Before working at Key IVR, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Before my job at Key IVR I did door-to-door sales for a few years. You never knew who you’d meet and people didn’t always give me the best response, but I also met some nice and interesting people during my time there.
- What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on?
I once got the opportunity to go to Gambia in South Africa. It was a really eye-opening trip and a much different experience to your typical “mainstream” holiday. The culture was the complete opposite to anything I’ve ever experienced.
- If you could do any other job for one day, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to be a footballer. I played football a lot when I was younger, but after a bad knee injury and countless physiotherapy sessions, I couldn’t really play anymore.
- What music is on your phone?
I listen to a lot of RnB and house music.
- Where is your favourite place to eat?
I like to try lots of different places, I don’t really stick to one place. Although if I had to pick, Nandos would be my winner.
